   Jesus spoke to all those who were His followers, and said “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).  This verse of scripture was spoken some two thousand years ago by our blessed Lord and has been read by untold millions of people, people in different lands and using varying translations of the Bible.  At one time the most popular and considered to be the most accurate of the Bible translations was the Geneva Bible.  This Bible was brought to America on the Mayflower and was used for years by the early Puritans.  John Calvin had written an introductory epistle in it, and it was referred to as the Peoples Bible.  It was gradually replaced by the King James Bible after that translation had been endorsed by King James in 1603. 

       The Lord blessed us with the ministry that He gave to the apostles when He told them to go and preach the Gospel.  They obeyed the Lord but found that preaching the gospel meant that you may lose family, friends, and even your life.  But obedience is what the Lord required.  The years have come and gone and while the Bible is still here, and all of it is God’s precious Word, but the commission of our blessed Lord has unfortunately been drowned out.  Even though it was the Lord Jesus Christ that said Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away; and He said that the day is coming when we will be judged by the Words He spoke.  Even though the Apostle Paul said that we should let the Words of Christ live in us richly (Colossians 3:16), still the Gospels of the Lord Jesus Christ, as found in Matthew, Mark. Luke, and John are still the most neglected books of the Bible.  The letters of Paul are the most popular, and I’m sure he would certainly have never thought about upstaging the Words of Christ in his epistles, especially since he said in Romans 1:16 that he is not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation.  He is saying only what was said of Christ by the people mentioned in the Gospel of  Luke (4:32) “…His Word was with power.”  This is the power which is needed today in the lives of every person to get them set free from Satan’s power (1John 3:8).  It is what is needed in every Christian Church to fulfill the great commission as found in Matthew 28:18-20.  This is the foundation of this ministry.  We began following the Lord when He said that if we did so, He would carry the message to the world.  Since we started in 1980 this ministry has sent  Gospel messages around the world many times over, set up ministries first in Africa, then India.  As the years progressed into the late 80’s and 90’s other ministries took up the challenge.  Today there are many who are attempting to set people free from Satan’s power and freeing souls to study at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ and become His disciple:  in Acts 11:26 it is recorded that the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.  Our prayer today is that many people around the world will become Christians and identify as the believers did in Antioch; by becoming a true disciple of Jesus.  Jesus defined a disciple in John 8:31, 32 when He said:  “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed:  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

“Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.”  II John 9 (NIV)

 

Do you have troubles and you cannot figure them out?

If you think this way, then your thinking is wrong.  For changing your thinking, or your friends, or your hair, or moving to another state will not help your problems, for your problems will always be the same, and will only worsen, and become bigger and stronger, over time.

 

We are a ministry which deals with problems, problems which cannot be solved by people, problems which can only be solved by the Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God.  Many Christians and non-Christians today are being defeated and destroyed by the lack of knowledge that Jesus came into this world to give them (Hosea 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge).  Your problems are spiritual and only the Lord Jesus Christ can help you.
